But don&#8217;t worry, I&#8217;ll go through the notes one by one. Here are the notes I play in the video:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-text-color has-large-font-size\" style=\"color:#f61a30\">E &#8211; E (down 1 octave) &#8211; C# &#8211; C# &#8211; B &#8211; B &#8211; A &#8211; A<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you know theory, you&#8217;ll see that this is essentially a 1-6-5-4 progression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can try other combinations of notes as well, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pianote.com\/blog\/pop-piano-chord-progressions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1-5-6-4 progression<\/a> or one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pianote.com\/blog\/chord-progressions-for-mood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">these progressions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px\"><strong>Spicing It Up<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have the basics down, here are some ideas to make this dramatic melody uniquely yours:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add some pedal to make things even more dramatic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a different rhythm in the left hand.
