If you want to be exact, this is what each term technically means:<\/p><ol><li>A <b>keyboard<\/b> is any musical instrument interface with black and white keys. Accordions, melodicas, and synthesizers aren\u2019t pianos but they all use keyboards.<\/li><li>A <b>digital piano<\/b> is a digital keyboard instrument designed to emanate the sound, feel, and experience of an acoustic piano. And unless you\u2019re in a large enough space (like a concert hall) with adequate acoustics, you won\u2019t experience the true potential of a good acoustic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Keyboard (Digital Piano) Sound: Immersive, Flexible, Customizable<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keyboards lack the majestic feel of a true acoustic, but their convenience can\u2019t be understated. With headphones, you can play at all hours of the night. The action is 100% acoustic and the sound is 100% digital.
