What’s Learning Piano Online REALLY Like?

Is learning piano online REALLY a good way to learn?

Well, I’m obviously biased! But I want you to meet someone.

Her name is Kaitlyn, and she works in support at Pianote. If you’ve ever called or emailed our support team, you may have spoken to her!

Aside from being an awesome colleague and friend, Kaitlyn also wants to learn the piano. So I’m showing her how, using Pianote!

Here are her first 2 lessons as she begins learning piano online, and we’ll keep following her progress as she practices and gets better.

Some things to look out for…

As we follow Kaitlyn and watch her learn and improve, you might notice something.

Her mistakes.

I’m not saying that to be mean, but she will (and already has) made some mistakes. What I want you to notice is that these might be EXACTLY the same mistakes you have made, or are still making.

That’s because it’s NORMAL! Learning piano online takes practice and hard work. And most beginners struggle with the same things.

So look out for her mistakes, and see how she’s able to overcome them.

We’ll keep following Kaitlyn as she learns and gets better, so stay tuned.

But that’s not all…

This is our VLOG, so it’s the chance to show you life behind the scenes at Pianote. I’m going to take you into one of our planning meetings with Jared Falk (the big boss) and Scott (our marketing guy).

We try to put a lot of thought into what videos we film for YouTube so that you not only learn something but hopefully have some fun watching.

I think you’ll see some of that process here (even if they do pick on me a little bit).

That’s all for this month’s VLOG. I hope you like taking a look inside Pianote, and I’ll see you soon!
